One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.

According to popular legend, the place where the Hanuman Garhi now stands was inhabited by Hanuman. He used to live here to protect Janmabhoomi or Ramkot. This is so much for its mythological association.

Ram Janam Bhoomi is the site that, according to Hindu religious beliefs, is the birthplace of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu. The Ramayana states that the location of Rama's birthplace is on the banks of the Sarayu river in a city called "Ayodhya".

The temple was inaugurated on 22 January 2024 after a prana pratishtha ceremony. The site is the former location of the Babri Masjid, which was built in the 16th century. The mosque was attacked and demolished in 1992.
